Topcon Positioning Systems, Inc. has worked for the last 10+ years with leading OEMs from the off highway segment in the integration of machine automation & control, CAN Bus and precision GPS. The Tierra management team has extensive experience working with OEMs in the field of wireless remote asset management. The Tierra OEM teams leverages their extensive experience and know how to work closely with our OEM partners to successfully design, develop and implement a telematics program to fit their needs. With the Tierra™ telemetry solution as a core, the OEM partner has the option and flexibility to quickly rollout an OEM branded version of the standard Tierra™ solution or engage with the Tierra development team to create a customized solution with deep CAN Bus integration featuring information content and user interface in a form that is unique in the marketplace.
Equally important is our ability to help our OEM partners to leverage the power of information and uncover the full value it brings to the OEM Enterprise. All telemetry solutions capture raw machine data and in some manner convert that data into actionable machine information. Typically the information is targeted at the machine owner. This basic machine information alone can be somewhat useful but to be truly beneficial to an OEM Enterprise, it must be effectively mined, transformed into multiple presentation formats, integrated into the existing OEM business processes and distributed across the broad OEM Enterprise. The Tierra business development team can assist our OEM partners in building internal Enterprise-wide programs which will help them to extract the maximum benefit and financial return from the machine information.
